Right now I’m sitting down to get a set list together for Thursday night. My goal is to do an hour of calmer tunes, a contrast to the normal bar gigs I have been hitting up lately. This is going to be a special show, bringing together the newest and oldest of songs. Can’t wait to play Here We Go in New York finally, a song that captures this last year pretty well. I’ll also try dusting off some tunes like This is There, maybe even It’s What the Waves Do. I wouldn’t quite say it’s a full circle thing, but it is a good moment to reflect on where things have been and where they’re going.
