Admittedly taken from a documentary, this quote is quite powerful and sums up my current stance on performing music. A set (to me) is measured in the quality of the message of the music. Unfortunately, this doesn’t always mesh well with the bar scene and so I’m searching for meaningful AND entertaining tunes.
“Why” I am doing is to share some thoughts and music, haven’t gotten a good commercial sense yet. If this sounds like you, do share some places you think this music would fit in. Until then, it’s the bar scene; and that is “what” i will be doing. See you around!
